Join us this Saturday at Kindness Fest 2016 for the “SIGNS OF COMPASSION” project!
Kids, teens and young activists of all ages will be able to participate in this exciting project promoting kindness and compassion.
Throughout the festival day we will be filming segments for a promotional music video called (“Signs of Compassion”) for the non-profit group Compassionate Kids. This production will feature kids in various vignettes holding and interacting with home-made activist/protest style signs & banners with written messages for causes for which they are passionate. Compassionate Kids will be hosting a Sign-Creation-Station at the festival where participants can make their own signs & banners and then pose for the camera in our Signs of Compassion photo booth.
Participants who wish are also encouraged to bring their own signs they’ve created at home. Here’s a great wiki about creating your own protest signs: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Protest-Signs. Themes for this event will be Kindness & Compassion for the Earth, People & Animals. Signs can be made of cardboard, poster board or recycled materials. For more info please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 706-372-5318.
SPREADING THE LOVE – (For parents of participants) Be sure to sign up with your email at our booth and we will send you a downloadable link with of all of the photos and video clips taken for the Signs of Compassion event (when they are completed) to use freely in your own projects, websites and social media sites.
